Museum of the Tenth of November
The Museum of the Tenth of November known as Museum Sepuluh Nopember is a museum located in Surabaya City. The establishment of the Museum of the Tenth of November was initiated on November 10, 1991, to commemorate the Battle of Surabaya. Its soft opening took place on November 10, 1998, and it was officially inaugurated on February 19, 2000. The majority of the Museum of the Tenth of November structure is situated underground, adjacent to the Heroes Monument.
The Museum of the Tenth of November houses a collection of artifacts related to the Battle of Surabaya, including weapons and uniforms belonging to the Japanese forces, Allied forces, and the people of Surabaya. The museum is owned by the Surabaya City Department of Culture and Tourism and managed by the Technical Implementation Unit known as Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis Daerah (UPTD) of the Heroes Monument and the Museum of the Tenth of November. Visitors may visit the Museum of the Tenth of November from Sunday to Friday by purchasing an admission ticket. Ticket prices vary depending on the group size per visit.
